Design and Experiment of Feeding Device for Hairy Vetch Harvesting

In order to solve the problem of low mechanization level hairy vetch harvesting, a feeding device for an anti-winding harvester was designed. Firstly, physical properties stalk were studied. According mechanical stalk, key components designed and analyzed, structure working principle described. Secondly, discrete element method used simulate analyze movement performance device. On this basis, ternary quadratic regression orthogonal rotation combination test established with vertical drum, machine forward speed, spiral conveyor speed as factors stem loss rate index. The simulation results showed that when drum 1037.5 r/min, 2.76 m/s, 348.88 straw 2.38%, performs best at time. Finally, on-site carried out. that: all indicators met requirements national standard; actual cutting width 1.66 m; stubble height 6.41 mm; over 0.45%; missed 0.20%; 3.00%, which verified rationality design vetch, easily becomes entangled in process, harvesting
